"Calm Before The Storm" - Blender 3D

This Project was my submission to the Blender Share and Blender Daily Competition with the theme "Calm Before The Storm".

I was heavily inspired by interstellar and Project "REACH" by Orion Terry at Think Tank. I wanted to convey the feeling of relaxation and silence when looking down on earth from space and then introduce the asteroid as a potential threat that breaks that silence and pushes the viewer to the edge of their seat (or at least that was the aim) and then leave them hanging there with no confirmation or closure but instead they are left with more questions.

I used Blender 3D for the entire modeling, Texturing and animation process and the compositing and after effects happened in Adobe Premiere Pro.
